People Of Oaxaca
Oaxaca and its people have a totally different vibe and look to their Mexico City brothers and sisters. The place has a more colonial, Spanish vibes with its painted walls and old world architecture.
For me personally I felt that the centre was a bit of a tourist trap. If you move further out of the centre you can find a more authentic vibe to the city. As for the locals they were again very nice and friendly. I very much enjoyed the vibe of the Mexican people, hardworking but with a lust for life in their free time. We walked north one day and found beautiful little neighbourhoods tucked up the hill away from the Mescal bottle shaped tour buses and roof top bar day drinkers.
